As a Phlebotomist, you'll be one of the first healthcare professionals patients interact with during their care journey. Your compassion, attention to detail, and technical skills will help create a positive patient experience while ensuring high-quality specimen collection and accurate test results.

Shift: PRN

What You'll Do:

  • Collect blood specimens through venipuncture and capillary draws for laboratory testing, blood donations, and other diagnostic purposes.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure specimen accuracy throughout the collection process.
  • Label, process, and transport specimens according to established protocols.
  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity during all collection procedures.
  • Explain procedures and help alleviate patient concerns to create a positive experience.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Education-

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience-

  • One to two years of phlebotomy or related healthcare experience preferred.

Certifications-

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Compensation:

Hourly Range - $17 - $25.50
