Illustrator Embark Intern Summer 2027
Summary
An on-site summer 2027 internship at Answers in Genesis' Erlanger, KY headquarters where the student creates illustrations for books, activity pages, signage, posters, and presentation slides in support of the ministry's mission, while taking part in the Embark program's professional development and apologetics courses.
The Embark Internship Program contributes to the spiritual, personal and professional development of the student. As the Illustrator Embark Intern the student will use a variety of creative tools to produce high-quality illustrations that present the transformative truths of God’s Word and His world in visually engaging and faith-affirming ways. This internship will provide opportunities to learn about event and attraction production in a working environment. This position will allow one to impact others through a service mindset centered on making an eternal difference.
This position should display our Core Values of SERVE (Serve, Equip, Relate, Value, Engage) when interfacing with both internal and external customers to ensure that the message and mission of Answers in Genesis is portrayed in an effective and God-honoring fashion.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging illustrations for a variety of audiences and projects, including books, activity pages, signage, posters, and presentation slides.
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
- Approach all tasks with a second-mile mindset.
- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
- Participate in development courses provided for Embark Interns.
- Participate in apologetics courses provided for Embark Interns.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
