Summary
Creates visual assets — icons, characters, illustrations, logos, backgrounds, badges, and UI graphics — for EvoPlay's online-gaming mobile apps and websites, adapting existing styles and using AI image-generation tools in the workflow. Core tools are Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma; animation skills are a plus.
We are expanding our creative team and looking for an Illustrator / Visual Designer to work on visual assets for mobile applications and websites.
Responsibilities:
- Create and generate visual assets for web and mobile products.
- Design icons, characters, illustrations, logos, backgrounds, badges, and other UI-related graphics.
- Adapt existing visual styles and create new assets based on references and project guidelines.
- Work with composition, color, lighting, shape, and visual hierarchy.
- Prepare graphics for integration into interfaces and collaborate closely with designers, developers, and other team members.
- Use modern AI tools as part of the creative workflow for ideation, generation, iteration, and production.
- Maintain visual consistency and ensure that all assets meet project quality standards and deadlines.
- Strong illustration and visual design skills.
- Ability to draw and confidently work with shape, anatomy, perspective, composition, and color.
- Good understanding of color theory, lighting, contrast, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to work with references, analyze visual styles, and reproduce or develop them consistently.
- Experience creating graphics for digital products, mobile apps, websites, games, or similar environments.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or comparable visual design tools.
- Experience working with modern AI image-generation and image-editing tools.
- An up-to-date portfolio demonstrating strong visual skills and versatility.
- Ability to realistically estimate workload and delivery time.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to accept and apply feedback.
- Basic animation and motion design skills.
- Experience with Spine 2D, Adobe After Effects, Figma animations, SVG animation, or similar tools.
- Understanding of UI micro-interactions and simple interface animation.
- Basic experience preparing assets for animation or working with layered character illustrations.
- Experience working with generative AI workflows beyond basic prompting, including image editing, inpainting, style adaptation, or workflow-based tools.
