Imaging Supervisor - Echo
Summary
Supervises echo technicians, schedules shifts, and ensures compliance with healthcare standards while providing direct patient care.

Job Type: Full Time
Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.
Supervision of staff technicians in all patient care areas. Responsible for daily operation of all phases of work in the Echo Department following applicable policies and procedures of the Department, Facility and Company, as well as the guidelines of regulatory agencies. (e.g., ACHA, TJC). Ensures standards of care are followed. Responsible for scheduling shift assignments and assists Director/Manager with in- service education programs for staff, physicians, and nursing personnel. Participates in data collection for statistical and quality improvement reports. Provides direct patient care 25% of time.
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program or minimum education required for credentials as listed below.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three (3) years of echocardiography work experience required.
- Two (2) years supervision/ management experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- American Heart Association BLS certification
