Title: Information Technology - HANA Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 to 9 Months(Contact/ Freelance)

Experience: 5+ years in Information Technology | 2+ years in SAP ECC and SLT including SLT Transformation | Minimum 2+ years in SQL development(HANA SQLScript) | 2+ years in software testing.

Summary of role:

• The position will be part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics team whose scope includes the enterprise data warehouse, data integration, and analytics platforms. The selected candidate's responsibilities include supporting the HANA Enterprise analytics platform, data model design and deployment, planning and coordination, software development, testing, and documentation. Responsibilities also include ensuring high levels of data quality as well as solving technical issues and problems.
• This role is viewed as an expert in complex analytical reporting solutions, environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise. Recognized subject matter expert in SAP HANA. Delivers technical leadership in complex data modeling solutions. The role collaborates with Capability Business Analysts and all EDM&A team including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects and Analytics Designers.

Requirements :

• Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients
• 2+ years of experience with SAP ECC and SLT including SLT Transformation
• 2+ years of experience with SQL development, Stored Procedures, Functions and Data Modeling
• 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Education required/ preferred: Bachelor's degree

Essential functions:

• Work with specifications to design, develop, and maintain data infrastructure to provide business users with the tools and data needed to do their jobs more effectively
• Work with business analyst, solution architects, and business SMEs to deploy solutions based on technical specifications including developing data modeling requirements, code design and functional and technical documentation
• Leverage technical expertise to develop HANA models using Calculation Views
• Integrate SAP HANA with SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP SLT, and/or other ETL tools
• Map business requirements to the technical architecture design and information model in SAP HANA
• Implement HANA development best practices and develop performance optimized solutions
• Promote and apply SAP development best practices
• Work with business analysts and process owners on the development of test cases and scripts
• Test models and solutions to verify that requirements are met
• Work independently as a team member on assigned Task and ensure timely deliverable

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience including working directly with business clients
• 2+ years of experience with SAP ECC and SLT including SLT Transformation
• 2+ years of experience with SQL development, Stored Procedures, Functions and Data Modeling
• 2+ years of experience in software testing
• Experience with BI Tools Tableau and Analysis for Office a Plus
• Proficient in SQL and especially HANA SQLScript
• Knowledgeable of Code Promotion Process & Tools
• Experience with HANA Performance Tuning (Memory Consumption, Logging, Partitioning)
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle & Agile Framework
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and problem solving abilities
• Broad range of business and IT experiences; Has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).
• Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the client organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
• Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
