micro1 is engaging Immigration Attorneys (BigLaw Firms) to contribute subject matter expertise to a customer's innovative project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Analyze complex immigration law queries and provide well-reasoned, written responses.
2. Review and refine legal documents, forms, and correspondence for clarity, completeness, and compliance with best practices.
3. Evaluate case scenarios using case management platforms and annotate legal processes for machine learning training.
4. Leverage legal research tools to generate accurate, up-to-date information and elucidate key legal concepts.
5. Offer structured feedback on draft AI model outputs to improve reasoning and legal accuracy.
6. Collaborate with project managers and other experts to ensure high-quality deliverables in a technology-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Extensive experience as an attorney practicing immigration law at BigLaw firms or comparable settings.
2. Demonstrated expertise in legal writing, analysis, and review of complex immigration cases and documentation.
3. Proficiency with legal case management software and legal research databases.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate complex legal information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
5. Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide actionable feedback on draft materials.
6. Experience participating in technology-driven or AI-adjacent legal projects is advantageous.
7. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of legal ethics.
