Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Part-time job. We are seeking a detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team in a Remote capacity. This part-time position is ideal for someone with a strong background in immigration law and a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of family-based immigration processes.



What You'll Do
Prepare and organize family-based filings, including family petitions, adjustment of status, and consular processing.
Assist with naturalization and citizenship matters, including Form N-400 applications and supporting documents.
Review client documents, identify missing information, and follow up to ensure all case evidence is organized for attorney review.
Utilize Docketwise to manage questionnaires, prepare forms, maintain case notes, and track deadlines effectively.
What You Bring
At least 3 years of immigration-paralegal experience in a law firm, nonprofit, or similar setting.
Proven experience with family-based immigration, adjustment of status, consular processing, and naturalization matters.
Hands-on experience with Docketwise, including form preparation and document collection.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on client service and cultural sensitivity.
Comfort working remotely using Google Workspace, document-management tools, and secure client-communication systems.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with USCIS forms, filing procedures, and case-status tracking.
Experience in setting up and improving workflows and templates within Docketwise.
