Job Description:

The TLT BI/Analytics Senior Business Analyst role will drive the harmonisation of highest value and most critical BI/reporting and analytic products as part of the Mars & Kellanova Integration Program. The outcomes will be to standardise metric & KPI definitions, reduce duplication, and improving data led decision making and insights.

This job will partner with the key more senior TLT business stakeholders, TLT-DT product teams, and the teams in the CDAO organisation to orchestrate the delivery on the ambition to unlock cost synergies and value for the regions and functions, through this reporting and analytics transformation, rationalising products and processes, and enabling scale efficiencies.

This is an integration dedicated role as part of the Mars Snacking integration program with a planned end date of Dec 2028.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a structured catalogue of analytic products, dashboards, BI reports and reporting capabilities, including ownership, usage, value, KPI coverage, lifecycle status and data dependencies.

  • Map critical metrics and KPIs to products, reports, semantic layers, data models and source systems, highlighting conflicting definitions, gaps and opportunities for harmonisation.

  • Assess duplication across heritage Mars and Kellanova products, identifying overlaps by business process, product line, geography, KPI, user group and data model.

  • Support value based rationalisation decisions, by recommending which products should be retained, scaled, redesigned, merged, retired, for both an interim and/or North Star timing.

  • Orchestrate input from stakeholders, product owners, data teams, functional leads and regional teams to move from discovery to clear decisions and execution actions.

  • Prepare concise decision materials for leadership forums, including options, trade-offs, business impact, risks, dependencies, recommended actions and synergy contribution.

  • Build and manage a roadmap of interdependencies, and work being orchestrated by this team,

  • Linked to the roadmap, to also track actions, risks, assumptions, dependencies, delivery backlogs, retirement plans and measurable value delivery.

  • Informally oversee the work of the more junior TLT BI/Analytics Business Analyst

Key deliverables

  • TLT analytics, dashboard and BI/reporting product catalogue with agreed metadata and ownership.

  • Metric and KPI map linking business outcomes to products, reports, dashboards and data models.

  • Duplication and overlap assessment across Mars and Kellanova reporting and analytics portfolios.

  • Rationalisation roadmap showing products proposed for retirement, consolidation, redesign or redeployment and include all key interdependent work across Snacking business covering both integration and BAU work.

  • Leadership-ready decision packs to support portfolio choices and synergy delivery.

  • Action tracker for missing data, stakeholder follow-ups, risks, decisions and dependencies.

Skills and experience

  • Extensive business acumen and a stakeholder network covering some of the TLT functions in either the heritage Mars or Kellanova organisations

  • Strong business analysis experience in data, analytics, BI, reporting, digital product or transformation environments.

  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured requirements, analytical questions and practical delivery actions.

  • Experience working with dashboards, BI tools, KPI frameworks, analytics products, reporting catalogues, data models or reporting governance.

  • Strong stakeholder orchestration skills, with confidence working across business, DT, D&A, global, regional and functional teams.

  • Comfort working through ambiguity, incomplete information and complex discovery activity at pace.

  • Significant understanding of product value, usage, adoption, strategic fit, lineage, data quality and reporting dependencies.

  • Strong communication skills, especially for leadership decision papers and action-oriented summaries.

Preferred knowledge

  • Knowledge of many/all of the business functions within TLT; supply chain, manufacturing, commercial, planning, logistics, R&D, Quality & Food Safety (QFS), Sustainability or Enterprise Program Management (EPM) or broader TLT business domain knowledge.

  • Power BI, Tableau, analytics product management, data science product or enterprise reporting experience.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 46,894.00 - USD 64,478.00
