Implementation Engineer — Informatica

We are looking for an Implementation Engineer to deploy, configure, and support Informatica solutions in customer environments. This role is suitable for someone with a strong foundation in infrastructure, databases, and application implementation who wants to develop expertise in enterprise data management.

Previous Informatica experience is an advantage but is not mandatory. Product training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customer environments and verify technical deployment prerequisites.

• Install and configure applicable Informatica components and runtime environments.

• Configure database and application connections, authentication, permissions, and certificates.

• Implement technical configurations based on approved solution designs.

• Perform deployment testing and troubleshoot application, database, and connectivity issues.

• Support monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Prepare deployment guides, configuration records, and operational handover documentation.

• Coordinate with Technical Consultants, customer IT teams, and vendor support.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in system engineering, application implementation, or technical support.

• Practical knowledge of Windows and Linux installation, services, permissions, and logs.

• Understanding of DNS, ports, firewalls, proxies, and network troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL for data validation.

• Understanding of service accounts, access controls, authentication, and TLS certificates.

• Basic scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to document technical work clearly and collaborate with customers.

• Ability to read English technical documentation.

• Willingness to complete Informatica training and pursue relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON/XML, ETL/ELT, or cloud platforms.

• Previous exposure to Informatica or other enterprise integration platforms.
