Your Role

As Implementation Manager, you own the technical implementation of grape connect, from pre-sales feasibility assessment through go-live, for both new and existing customers. grape connect is our data standard linking customers' payroll and HR systems to the grape platform, enabling insurance process and absence management automation. You sit within Customer Success and work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Sales, technical functions, external IT partners, and customers to deliver a smooth, fast technical onboarding experience. Furthermore, you will build partner relationships that make future integrations faster.

What you'll do:

Technical Implementation & Assessment

  • Lead end-to-end grape connect implementations for new and existing customers
  • Drive adoption of grape connect among existing customers together with the CSM to foster automation
  • Run technical pre-sales assessments for grape connect (feasibility, scoping, effort estimation, quotation) before sales closes deals

Wage Type Mapping & Account Configuration

  • Own and continuously optimize wage type mapping processes internally and with customers
  • Handle technical account configuration and testing set-ups in lockstep with the CSM

Partnerships & Process

  • Build technical partnerships with IT providers to standardise integrations and make future implementations simpler and faster
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of our ways of working with grape connect

What you'll need:

  • Client-facing Experience: 5+ years in client-facing roles, including managing implementations and translating technical detail into clear business language.
  • Project management: Strong project management skills, managing timelines and stakeholders across concurrent engagements
  • Technical skills: 5+ years hands-on with REST APIs, Bearer-token auth, JSON Schema, and mapping/validating data across JSON, XML, and CSV
  • Domain Knowledge: Operational understanding of Swiss payroll systems, time tracking software, and related HR/payroll processes.
  • Technical Partnerships and Pre-Sales: Business acumen for partner- and provider-level conversations and partnership build-up. Commercial experience scoping technical feasibility ahead of deal closure by sales.
  • Collaboration: Strong cross-functional collaborator with the rigor to keep configurations accurate and a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Languages: Proficient in German and English (required); Swiss German and French a plus
