We’re Hiring! – Customs Specialist
Join our Trade Compliance team as a Customs Specialist and become the driving force behind our company’s customs operations. In this role, you’ll ensure efficient, compliant customs processes while working closely with our internal customs team, authorities, cross‑functional teams, and international partners.
- Support and continuously improve the company’s customs processes to ensure full compliance with applicable EU customs laws, permits, and internal regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely customs clearance, including the preparation, submission, and control of all required customs documentation and reports.
- Oversee the correct and efficient use of Customs (Regens) SW and ERP (Oracle) systems.
- Maintain alignment between customs activities and other business processes such as logistics, finance, and sales.
- Help to monitor changes in customs and trade regulations and communicate relevant updates to the customs team in a documented manner.
- Contrinute to audits, inspections, and authorization processes, including activities related to AEO requirements.
- Communicate with limited scope to customs authorities, internal stakeholders, external partners, and affiliated companies.
- Contribute to process development, system testing, professional training, and the continuous improvement of customs operations.

- BSC or Masters education degree with formal mid level qualification in customs (Customs Broker) or high level customs qualification (Customs Expert)
- Several years of relevant experience (approx. 4–8 years) in customs, trade compliance, or a related field.
- Detail-oriented, highly precise, and committed to accurate and compliant work.
- Working independently while also being an effective team player.
- Clear and professional communication with authorities, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Proactive and capable of identifying process improvements and implementing changes.
- Demonstrates reliability, integrity, accountability, and a high level of professional ethics.
- Is open to continuous learning, training, and adapting to regulatory and business changes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, system-oriented mindset.
- Advanced ERP and customs systems (e.g. Oracle, Regens customs software) and MS Office tools knowledge.
- Medium knowledge of customs legislation, permits, AEO requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Minimum intermediate, active English (or studies in progress) and native Hungarian languages skills.
