Import Operation Officer

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Monitoring of cargo movement from terminal to warehouse.
• Ensuring clearance from terminal are done within free storage.
• Follow up with terminal on discrepancy shipment (survey), short landed shipment and and prepare Tracer letter , email and submit to terminal for any missing shipment (unlocated).
• Communication with local agents and OAs.
• Raise cheque for import shipment.
• Prepare LOA for valuable cargo and cold room cargo.
• Arrange transshipment transfer.
• Handling buy permit request from other agents.
• Back up to your other colleagues.

Additional Task Assigned (if any):

• Contribute in company function such as department meeting.
• Backup for supporting role for Import Operation Supervisor.
• Continuously look for work improvement within he section.
• Maintaining sections harmony.

Job Requirement:

• With basic 1 year experience in billing in airfreight industry
• Alternate Saturday.
