Are you an experienced Import Security Filing (ISF) Coordinator looking to grow your career with an established international logistics company?
Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding with more than 30 years of experience specializing in the transportation of wine & spirits, luxury goods, and other international cargo, is seeking a detail-oriented ISF Filing Coordinator to join their Customs Brokerage team.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare, review, and electronically transmit Import Security Filings (10+2) through ACE.
- Ensure ISFs are filed accurately and within CBP regulatory deadlines.
- Review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping documents for completeness.
- Monitor accepted, rejected, and pending ISF filings and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Process amendments, corrections, and cancellations as shipment information changes.
- Track vessel departures and monitor shipments approaching filing deadlines.
- Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, freight forwarders, steamship lines, customs brokers, and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and support CBP compliance requirements.
- Assist with responses to CBP inquiries and maintain complete documentation.
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of experience in Import Security Filing (ISF), Customs Brokerage, Ocean Imports, or Freight Forwarding.
- Working knowledge of CBP Import Security Filing (10+2) regulations.
- Experience reviewing import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using the ACE Portal.
- Experience processing high-volume ISF filings.
- Familiarity with AMS and Ocean Manifest requirements.
