Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as Personal Support Workers/Caregivers. As a Personal Support worker, you will not only be looking after the clients, you will be a part of an amazing team, that promotes a culture of recognition, appreciation, respect, leadership, learning, and ongoing support.
We are looking for a Personal Support Worker to provide care for our client in their home that is bed ridden and uses a hoyer lift. Must be comfortable using hoyer life on own. Shifts: 4 hours in the morning and then 4 hours in the evening. We are looking for 2-3 people to divide the 14 shifts amongst themselves.
Responsibilities
- ADLs
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Reminders
- Using Hoyer lift to transfer client
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow a care plan
- Documentation/Charting
Qualifications
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
- Hoper lift experience a must
- Current CPR/First Aid training
- Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Access to the internet/mobile phone.
- Reliable and Experienced
