In Home Sales Manager
Who We Are
Joyce Factory Direct has been an industry leader in home remodeling since 1955, specializing in sunrooms, windows, baths, and doors. We proudly serve multiple markets including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Columbia, Asheville, and Greenville. We are a third-generation, family-owned and operated company, committed to quality craftsmanship and long-term customer relationships. At Joyce, we take pride in manufacturing the majority of our own products, allowing us to deliver superior quality while supporting the communities we serve.
Position Overview
Joyce is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager who can build a winning team while continuing to win in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced in-home sales professional who knows how to coach closers, drive accountability, and create a culture where strong performance is the standard.
You will own the development and day-to-day performance of the sales team, including onboarding new representatives, ongoing training and coaching, and holding the team accountable to production, conversion, and activity goals. Just as importantly, you will lead from the front by continuing to run company-provided appointments, close business, and demonstrate the habits and behaviors you expect from your team.
This is not a desk-only management position. The right leader will be equally comfortable coaching a rep through a tough sales situation, reviewing performance numbers, and stepping into the home to close business themselves.
Compensation
This is a high-income leadership opportunity with multiple ways to earn.
• Base salary: $60,000 to $70,000
• Uncapped commission on personal sales
• Sales override tied to team production and performance
• $500 monthly car allowance
• $100 monthly phone allowance
• Expected total compensation: approximately $180,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on individual and team performance
Strong managers have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings by developing a productive team while continuing to perform at a high level personally.
What You’ll Do
• Coach, train, and develop a team of in-home sales representatives
• Lead the onboarding and ramp-up of new sales representatives, helping them learn our products, sales process, and expectations
• Provide ongoing field coaching, role-play, sales training, and performance feedback
• Track team production, close rates, activity, and other key performance metrics
• Set clear expectations and hold sales representatives accountable for results and performance standards
• Identify performance gaps and create actionable coaching plans to improve results
• Build a competitive, accountable, and high-energy sales culture
• Run pre-set, in-home sales appointments and maintain strong personal production
• Lead by example by demonstrating effective presentations, objection handling, follow-up, and closing techniques
• Partner with company leadership to support sales goals, staffing needs, and continued team growth
• Ensure accurate documentation, deal submission, and a professional customer experience across the team
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You:
• Have a proven track record in in-home sales, outside sales, or high-ticket B2C sales
• Have experience coaching, training, or leading sales professionals
• Know how to use performance data to coach behavior and improve results
• Are comfortable holding people accountable while still building trust and motivating a team
• Are a strong closer who is willing and able to continue producing personally
• Are competitive, energetic, organized, and highly results-focused
• Can balance leadership responsibilities with a personal sales pipeline
• Communicate clearly and confidently with both customers and sales representatives
Preferred backgrounds: home improvement, roofing, solar, windows, baths, HVAC, or other in-home sales environments. Previous sales management experience is strongly preferred.
