In Home Supports Manager

PKT Enterprises is hiring an In Home Supports Manager (IHS M) to work with adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness and to manage IHS DSP's. This role blends leadership, coordination, and hands-on understanding of client needs, being in the community and spending time in the office.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Working with individuals in the community.
• Supervising, supporting, and training Direct Support Professionals.
• Ensuring documentation and month-end paperwork are completed accurately
• Planning and supporting meaningful, client-centered activities
• Serving as a knowledgeable resource for staff regarding client needs, and company policies

Training is provided, and expectations are clearly outlined before you are fully responsible for the role.

Required qualifications (per MN DHS Designated Coordinator standards)

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field + 1 year of direct care experience
• Associate degree in a human services-related field + 2 years of direct care experience
• Diploma in a human services-related field + 3 years of direct care experience
• 50 hours of human services-related education + 4 years of direct care experience (with appropriate supervision)
• American Sign Language (ASL) fluency is a bonus!

Additional requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Good driving record and insurance in employee’s name
• At least 19 years of age
