About the Role
Zitelle Group is seeking a qualified and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to provide legal guidance across business operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage legal risks, and support the organization with contract and employment law matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on business and operational matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Advise management on Nigerian Labour Law and employment-related issues.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research and provide practical legal recommendations.
- Liaise with external legal advisers and relevant stakeholders when required.
Requirements
- LL.B degree and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- Minimum of 4 years' relevant professional experience, preferably as an in-house legal counsel.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
- Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
