SWEATINCGlobal is looking for enthusiastic, reliable and safety-conscious Part-Time Rollerblading / Inline Skating Coaches to conduct fun and engaging enrichment classes for children.
Responsibilities
- Conduct beginner-friendly rollerblading and inline skating lessons for children.
- Teach essential skills such as balancing, gliding, turning, stopping and safe falling techniques.
- Introduce more advanced skating skills based on the students’ ability and progress.
- Plan fun, interactive and age-appropriate skating drills, games and activities.
- Build students’ confidence, coordination, agility and overall skating ability.
- Ensure that students wear the appropriate safety equipment before participating.
- Conduct safety checks on skates, helmets and protective gear before each lesson.
- Manage the class and maintain a safe, positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide feedback when required.
- Assist students with putting on, adjusting and removing their skating equipment.
Requirements
- Proficient and confident in rollerblading or inline skating.
- Prior experience coaching rollerblading or inline skating to children is required.
- Strong classroom and group management skills.
- Good understanding of skating safety procedures and injury prevention.
- Patient, energetic and comfortable working with children.
- Reliable and available on weekdays from approximately 3:00 PM onwards.
- Experience coaching in preschools, primary schools, international schools or enrichment centres is an advantage.
- Relevant coaching, first-aid or sports certifications are an advantage.
- Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are preferred.
