Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise
reporting, business intelligence, and analytics solutions leveraging the SAP
BusinessObjects platform. This role requires deep expertise in SAP BOBJ
tools, data modeling, report and dashboard development, semantic layer
design, and enterprise data visualization. The candidate will collaborate
with business stakeholders, solution architects, data analysts, and
technology teams to transform business requirements into scalable and
actionable reporting solutions, enabling data-driven decision-making across
the organization. The role demands strong technical expertise, analytical
problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality BI
solutions that generate measurable business value across diverse industry

BusinessObjects Administration<br />
• Administer SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform (4.x, 4.3, BI 2025).<br />
• Manage CMC, BI Launchpad, APS, SIA, CMS, FRS, and Tomcat servers.<br />
• Configure users, groups, roles, folders, and security permissions.<br />
• Manage report scheduling, publications, and event-based scheduling.<br />
• Monitor system health, job execution, and server performance.<br />
• Perform platform troubleshooting and root cause analysis.<br />
• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SAP systems.<br />
• Manage transports, system refreshes, and landscape administration.<br />
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning.<br />
• Manage SSL certificates, SSO, LDAP, Active Directory, and authentication
mechanisms.<br />
• Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability
setup.<br />
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and security teams.<br />
Migration & Upgrade Activities<br />
• Lead SAP BOBJ upgrades (4.3 → BI 2025).<br />
• Execute migration of Universes, WebI reports and publications.<br />
• Conduct impact assessments and compatibility analysis.<br />
• Support migration from UNV to UNX and BW/BEx-based reporting
solutions.<br />
• Coordinate testing, UAT, regression validation, and cutover
activities.<br />
Performance & Support<br />
• Handle L2/L3 production support.<br />
• Troubleshoot CMS, APS, WebI Processing Server, and connectivity
issues.<br />
• Perform audit database optimization and platform tuning.<br />
• Ensure SLA compliance and incident resolution.<br />
• Support change management and release activities.</td>
