The League of Amazing Programmers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) after-school program that teaches Python to students in grades 4 through 12. The League aims to broaden access to coding and to reach more girls and underserved youth in San Diego County. Our programs seek to develop critical thinking and self-confidence through coding.

Responsibilities

  • Volunteer as an Assistant Python Programming Mentor to support learners in developing their coding skills by helping them understand Python concepts, troubleshoot code, and stay engaged during classes.
  • Assist instructors and mentors in creating an inclusive, encouraging learning environment for beginners.

Qualifications

  • Interest in teaching, mentoring, and making programming more accessible to beginners.
  • Commitment to the League's mission to reach more girls and underserved youth.
