Job Description & Summary:

PwC India is looking for a highly skilled Data Science Senior Associate with hands-on experience in advanced analytics, machine learning, and data engineering techniques. This is a purely technical role focused on developing scalable data science solutions and integrating them with enterprise data platforms to drive data-driven decision making and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and data analytics solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Build robust data pipelines and workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver actionable insights.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments.
• Implement data quality controls, governance, and compliance adherence in data science workflows.
• Develop visualizations and reports to effectively communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support CI/CD processes for machine learning model deployment and monitoring.
• Continuously explore emerging technologies, AI/ML frameworks, and best practices for innovation.

Mandatory Skill Sets:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL with experience in machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model development.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and data engineering tools such as Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and lakehouse architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices related to model deployment, including version control and CI/CD.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and agile teams.

Preferred Skill Sets:

• Experience with advanced NLP, computer vision, or deep learning techniques.
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Previous consulting experience delivering enterprise AI/ML solutions.
