Job Description & Summary:

PwC India is looking for a highly skilled .Net, C# Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade applications using Microsoft technologies. This is a purely technical role focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions that meet complex business requirements.

Job Position Title: IN_Senior Associate_.Net C# Developer_D&A_Advisory_PAN India

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement robust software solutions using .Net framework and C# programming language.
• Build and maintain APIs, web services, and backend components ensuring integration with enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high quality deliverables.
• Optimize application performance, ensure security compliance, and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
• Develop reusable and maintainable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including system design, configuration, and user manuals.
• Keep abreast with the latest developments in .Net technologies and recommend improvements.
• Work in Agile environments with active participation in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Mandatory skill sets:

• Strong hands-on experience in .Net Framework, .Net Core, and C# programming.
• Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Proficient with Microsoft SQL Server and writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Angular or React is a plus.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, MSTest).
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred skill sets:

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure and familiarity with Azure services (App Services, Functions, Blob Storage).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Prior consulting or enterprise application development experience.
