Job Description & Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect with deep expertise in both SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud and Public Cloud environments to lead the technical vision, architecture, and delivery of enterprise SAP transformation programs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and governing the end-to-end SAP technology landscape, ensuring alignment between the SAP target architecture and the client's broader enterprise technology ecosystem. This role requires strong technical leadership across SAP S/4HANA, modern ABAP, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), cloud infrastructure, security, and enterprise integration architecture.

The Technical Architect will act as the trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders, driving SAP best practices, Clean Core principles, extensibility strategies, and scalable cloud-native solutions.

*Responsibilities:

SAP Technical Architecture & Strategy

• Define and own the end-to-end SAP technical architecture across SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and hybrid landscapes.

• Develop architecture blueprints, standards, and governance frameworks aligned with business and enterprise technology objectives.

• Ensure seamless integration of the SAP landscape with the client's broader IT ecosystem.

• Lead technical architecture workshops, solution reviews, and design authority sessions.

• Drive adoption of SAP Clean Core principles and SAP-recommended architecture practices.

• Provide architectural leadership throughout the program lifecycle, including design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

SAP S/4HANA Architecture

• Design scalable and future-ready SAP S/4HANA architectures for Greenfield, Brownfield, and Selective Data Transition programs.

• Define technical approaches for:

ü SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

ü SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud

ü RISE with SAP

ü Hybrid SAP Landscapes

• Evaluate and govern custom developments, enhancements, and integrations.

• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and cloud standards.

SAP BTP & Extensibility

• Lead SAP BTP architecture and extension strategy.

• Define side-by-side extensibility approaches using SAP BTP.

• Architect and govern solutions leveraging:

• Provide technical oversight for SAP development teams.

• Drive adoption of modern SAP development techniques including:

• Review solution designs, code quality, and performance optimization strategies.

• Define development governance and release management processes.

Integration Architecture

• Lead enterprise integration architecture across SAP and non-SAP applications.

• Design API-first and event-driven integration strategies.

• Govern and architect integrations using:

• Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient integration frameworks.

Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture

• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to define SAP hosting and platform strategies.

• Provide architectural guidance for:

ü Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

ü Hybrid Infrastructure Landscapes

• Define security, authentication, disaster recovery, and high-availability requirements.

• Ensure SAP platform scalability, performance, and operational readiness.

Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary technical escalation point across SAP workstreams.

• Align technical, functional, integration, and infrastructure teams toward a unified architecture vision.

• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

• Mentor solution architects, technical leads, and development teams.

• Work closely with enterprise architects, CIO organizations, and senior business stakeholders.

*Mandatory Skill Sets:

· 12-16 years of SAP technical consulting experience.

· Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP Technical Architect or SAP Solution Architect.

· Proven experience in both SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and Private Cloud environments.

· Experience leading large-scale SAP transformation and ERP modernization programs.

· Strong hands-on background in SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite (CPI), and modern ABAP development.

· Experience managing multiple technical workstreams including development, integration, infrastructure, and security.

· Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

· Experience with global SAP implementations and multi-country rollouts.

· Experience in RISE with SAP programs.

· Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

· Presales, solutioning, and client advisory experience.
