Role Description
The Income Accountant will be responsible for monitoring and reconciling hotel revenues, ensuring the accuracy of daily income records, and supporting the Finance team in maintaining proper financial controls and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify daily hotel revenue reports.
- Reconcile revenue from Rooms, F&B, Banquets, and other hotel outlets.
- Verify POS, Opera PMS, and payment transactions.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between operational and financial records.
- Prepare daily revenue and income reports.
- Ensure accurate posting and classification of revenues.
- Monitor cash, credit card, online payment, and other revenue transactions.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
- Support month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel accounting or a similar role.
- Previous experience in the hospitality/hotel sector is required.
- Good knowledge of hotel revenue and income control procedures.
- Experience with Opera PMS and POS systems is preferred.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
