Indirect Channel Account Manager
- Manage distributor sales and performance across textile, general manufacturing, sugar, steel, chemicals and fleet sectors to drive revenue growth.
- Drive margin improvement through strategic distributor engagement, pricing optimization, and market expansion initiatives.
- Develop and execute business growth strategies to acquire new customers and increase market penetration.
- Increase market share in different sectors by converting key customers to Shell lubricants.
- Drive customer conversion to premium products by demonstrating value, cost savings, and performance benefits, resulting in higher profitability.
- Optimize distributor inventory and stock management to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key accounts to drive customer retention and repeat business.
- Conduct distributor training programs to enhance technical knowledge, product expertise, and sales effectiveness.
- Lead marketing and brand-building initiatives to position Shell lubricants as the preferred choice across industrial segments.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies.
- Implement pricing strategies that balance profitability with competitiveness in the B2B industrial lubricants market.
- Collaborate with technical, supply chain, and marketing teams to strengthen distributor support and improve customer service.
Criteria :
- Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA is preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales, industrial lubricants, industrial products, or channel/distributor management.
- Proven experience in managing distributors and driving sales growth in industrial sectors such as textile, manufacturing, sugar, steel, chemical
- Strong understanding of industrial lubricants, customer applications, and value-selling techniques is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets, grow market share, and improve profitability.
- Experience in key account management and new business development.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively within Karachi, Hydrabad and surrounding industrial areas.
