About the Role
We are seeking an experienced tax and VAT professional to join our Group Finance Function as the Indirect Tax Manager. The main responsibility of the role is to oversee OUP VAT compliance and regulatory obligations, as well as providing limited technical VAT guidance to internal stakeholders.
OUP sells to customers in more than 170 countries and is registered for VAT/GST in more than 40 countries. The role covers 3 key areas – Compliance, Advisory and Business Partnering, as well as some ad-hoc Projects.
Key responsibilities in this role will include:Reviewing OUP UK’s 40+ global VAT returns and signing off in conjunction with the Senior Group VAT Manager.Ensure balance sheet management of indirect taxes in conjunction with finance teams.Approving Intrastat...
