By building and preserving affordable housing through new construction, renovations, and home repairs, Habitat LA is transforming communities throughout Los Angeles County. Through access to affordable loans, housing counseling, down-payment assistance, skilled construction training, financial education, and volunteer opportunities the organization has strengthened families, helped stabilize communities, and fostered economic vitality in the region. On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is seeking a Manager of Individual Giving to grow annual giving revenue and donor engagement by implementing effective fundraising strategies, cultivating and stewarding donor relationships, leveraging donor data to inform decision-making, and creating meaningful opportunities for supporters to connect with Habitat LA's mission.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and execute annual giving campaigns and fundraising initiatives, including employee giving, tribute and memorial giving, affinity groups, faith partnerships, community fundraising, and special appeals to achieve annual revenue and participation goals.
- Cultivate and steward individual and faith-based donors through personalized engagement, relationship-building, and moves management strategies designed to increase donor retention, giving, and long-term support.
- Maintain accurate donor records, conduct prospect research, track donor activity and communications, and analyze fundraising performance to support donor segmentation, pipeline development, and strategic decision-making.
- Support the planning and execution of signature events, donor cultivation activities, stewardship events, and community engagement opportunities that strengthen relationships and advance fundraising goals.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have access to reliable internet connection.
- Must have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA driver’s license and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, a criminal background check, a credit check.
- Develop and execute annual giving campaigns and fundraising initiatives, including employee giving, tribute and memorial giving, affinity groups, faith partnerships, community fundraising, and special appeals.
- Manage a portfolio of individual and faith-based donors through personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Identify and research prospective donors and develop strategies to increase donor acquisition, retention, engagement, and giving.
- Maintain accurate donor records and analyze fundraising data to track performance, segment donors, manage the pipeline, and inform strategy.
- Plan and support donor cultivation activities, stewardship opportunities, community engagement initiatives, and signature fundraising events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective donor communications, ensure consistent messaging, and achieve annual fundraising goals.

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $26.44- $31.25 per hour.
