SIS Global is seeking a motivated Indoor Drive Test Engineer to support mobile network performance optimization across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. The ideal candidate will possess hands‑on experience with TEMS tools, indoor walk testing, RF KPI analysis, and network optimization activities within telecom operator environments.

Detailed Job Description

As an Indoor Drive Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting indoor walk tests, analyzing network performance data, and identifying coverage, capacity, and quality issues affecting subscriber experience. You will use TEMS Investigation and TEMS Discovery tools to perform data collection, log analysis, and performance evaluation across commercial mobile networks. Working closely with RF Optimization, Operations, and Performance teams, you will help improve network quality through detailed analysis and optimization recommendations. The role also involves IBS testing, troubleshooting radio performance issues, and validating network enhancements across multiple radio access technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct indoor drive tests and walk tests for 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile networks
• Collect, process, and analyze TEMS log files to identify network performance issues
• Perform RF KPI analysis and provide optimization recommendations
• Execute Indoor Building Solution (IBS) testing and validation activities
• Analyze coverage, call quality, throughput, accessibility, retainability, and mobility KPIs
• Prepare technical reports and optimization findings based on field measurements
• Support RF Optimization teams in troubleshooting radio network issues
• Validate network changes, parameter modifications, and optimization activities
• Monitor network performance trends and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve customer experience
• Ensure testing activities comply with project and operator standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 1–3 years of hands‑on Drive Test or RF Optimization experience
• Strong experience with TEMS Investigation and TEMS Discovery
• Experience performing Indoor Drive Testing and Walk Testing activities
• Good understanding of RF KPIs and mobile network performance metrics
• Knowledge of GSM (2G), UMTS (3G), LTE (4G), and 5G technologies
• Experience analyzing drive test logs and generating optimization reports
• Understanding of call setup, handover, throughput, accessibility, and retainability KPI analysis
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Transferable Iqama (Mandatory)

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Nemo, Actix, or other RF optimization tools
• Knowledge of IBS design and optimization methodologies
• Experience working with telecom vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia, or ZTE
• Familiarity with OSS performance monitoring platforms
• Previous experience supporting major telecom operators in the Middle East
