Indoor Lifeguard (Year Round or Temporary)

Position Overview:
Indoor Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic environment. This role focuses on active surveillance, rule enforcement, and prompt emergency response while providing excellent customer service to patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas
  
• Enforce all pool rules, safety standards, and facility policies
  
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and rescues
  
• Provide first aid, CPR, and emergency care as needed
  
• Complete incident and rescue reports accurately and promptly
  
• Communicate professionally with patrons and address concerns
  
• Assist with opening/closing duties and daily pool operations
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck
  

Qualifications:

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (required)
  
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required)
  
• Strong attention to safety and detail
  
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
  
• Ability to remain alert for extended periods
