An Industrial AutoCAD Designer is sought to join a growing Systems Integrator team.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate, $19.00 to $37.00 per hour based on experience, skill level, and certifications.

• Junior Level: $19.00 to $29.00 per hour
• Mid Level: $28.00 to $37.00 per hour

Job Summary:

This role involves designing the project lifecycle of automation and control systems for various industrial clients. The designer will use expertise to design and develop project solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative solutions is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Schematics & Drawings: Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and network architectures using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Bill of Materials (BOM): Generate and maintain accurate component lists, terminal strip schedules, and cable schedules for procurement and manufacturing.
• Standards Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with relevant industrial and safety codes such as NEC, NFPA 79, NFPA 70, and UL508A.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with controls engineers, PLC programmers, and shop floor panel builders to clarify design details and resolve assembly issues.
• As-Built Documentation: Update design packages and redlines to reflect final factory acceptance testing (FAT) and field commissioning changes.
