Industrial Electrician (Contract/Temp Work)

Main Purpose:

The Electrician installs, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs electrical systems within an industrial environment. This is a contract/temporary position, and the estimated workload is 2-7 weeks.

Essential Functions:

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain electrical systems, equipment and fixtures including conduit, wire duct and cable tray systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely manner
• Read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Ensure compliance with national, state and local electrical codes
• Mentor helpers and provide guidance as needed
• Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment in good working order
• Work collaboratively with team members, contractors and clients
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
