Functional objectives
- Development of processing in new and relocated electric connectors
Is responsible for
- Assist R&D engineers to develop production processes for new projects.
- Create and updates of manufacturing cost calculations. Prepare the necessary machinery and equipments (fixture, Jig, tools, …) for new projects.
- Create PFMEA for new projects with cross-function team.
- SAP master data creation and updates. E.g, BOM, Routing, Work Centers.
- Plan to buy and approval for new assembly machine, fixtures.
- Implement pilot run of new and relocation production. Create and implement standard production documents like work instructions.
- Push lean manufacturing, improve the line balance, optimize material flow and production process, increase production output and make costs down.
- Measure the standard working time for new product, update the routing time in SAP system in time.
- Support capacity planning and equipment utilization schedules for new project; On-job training will be provided.
- Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
Education and professional knowledge
- University degree in engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the relevant industry, preferred in assembly company.
- Experienced in Flow chart, P-FMEA, Poka Yoke, Process Capability (Cp/Cpk), cycle time measurement, Enginnering Change Request, 4M change, Working instruction creation.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, PFMEA, and Control Plan.
- Good Digital skills and knowledge of MS Office, preferably with experience in SAP.
- Good English communication.
