Industrial Engineer
Summary
Industrial engineer optimizing semiconductor factory layouts, capacity planning, and equipment setup using CAD, time studies, and data tools like Tableau/Power BI.
Responsibilities
Factory Layout Support
- Coordinate with functional teams (Facility/ Equipment/ QA/ RND/ MES/others) on latest factory layout plan.
- Support and ensure factory schematic layout drawing is up to date.
- Coordinate overall equipment move in/arrival/installation and hook-up schedule plan.
- Optimize factory layout for effective space utilization.
- Work closely with production and facility on equipment setup requirements.
Capacity Support
- Conduct time study on equipment and establish theoretical UPH.
- Calculate and study manpower requirement and planning for factory operation.
- Maintain and update factory capacity model.
- Support and compute overall factory capacity and execute companybusiness plan to ensure capacity readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment or other related field.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process is an advantage.
- Hand-on skills on CAD tool like Autocad.
- Familiar with facility setup/hookup requirement
- Domain knowledge in Industrial Engineering or related field will be an advantage. Excellent leadership with solid communication skills and project management experience
- Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI is preferred, with Python skills being an added advantage.
