Position Overview:
The Industrial Engineer leads continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and profitability. This position evaluates manufacturing processes, material flow, and workflows while utilizing data analytics to identify improvement opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, improve quality, reduce operating costs, and drive organizational profitability through 5S methodologies.
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, material flow, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
- Utilize data analytics to identify opportunities, measure the effectiveness of improvements, and support data-driven decision making.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance workplace safety, reduce operational risk, and improve ergonomics.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to identify and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and work instructions.
