Industrial Engineer

• Analyzes and evaluates operational processes, workflows, and systems; identifies inefficiencies and areas for improvement; develops and implements solutions to optimize performance and reduce costs in the most economical and effective manner.
• Applies industrial engineering practices including process mapping, time-and-motion studies, statistical analysis, and simulation modeling; collects and interprets operational data to support evidence-based decision making.
• Oversees comprehensive annual facility condition assessment program and manages all associated data to identify, plan, and prioritize short-and long-term facility preservation and renewal investments.
• Works closely with University stakeholders to ensure collaborative planning, prioritization and coordination of annual capital preservation needs.
• Serves as a key strategist for Facilities Management (FM) senior leadership to identify, prioritize, and lead initiatives to optimize performance and ensure responsible resource allocation. Collaborates closely with FM finance team to help define options for budget reallocations or reductions.
Coordinates with stakeholders to determine project needs, scope, budgets, and timelines;establishes performance criteria and generates cost estimates; communicates findings and recommendations clearly to all levels of the organization.
