Job Summary:
Field Service Tech 1 will accompany a senior technician to learn how to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of our products (industrial machinery; such as, air compressors (5-500HP), positive displacement and liquid ring pumps, refrigerated and desiccant dryers, and vacuum systems) at various customer sites in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Job Duties:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of customer equipment
- Learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Maintain a clean and organized service area
- Complete the Level 1 PQS (Personnel Qualification Standard) over a predetermined amount of time.
Additional Job Duties:
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
- Complete timecards, work orders & paperwork legibly and in a timely manner.
- Some overtime work and occasional overnight travel.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Application of mechanical and electrical principles.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to recognize common mechanical and electrical components.
Physical Demands:
- Exert force of 50lbs. occasionally, 25-50 lbs. frequently, 10-20 lbs. constantly.
- Bend, twist, crawl, push, pull, reach, climb, stand in the active position of working on heavy industrial equipment.

Pay Range:
- $25.00 to 30.00 per hour
