Industrial Hygiene Lead

Required working skills/ qualifications / certifications :
- Minimal 5-10 years similar position.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the oil and gas (O&G) or petrochemical industry is required.
- International certification or training in Industrial Hygiene, (e.g.: OHTA Modules, NEBOSH IGC in Occupational Health, and Safety) is required; a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or equivalent is highly regarded.
- Hold national professional certification in industrial hygiene (i.e. Hygiene Industry Muda HIMU or higher).
- Expert knowledge of international regulations, mandatory regulations, standards, and best industry practices relating to Industrial Hygiene is required.
- Excellent verbal and written command of English
Brief Job Description
- Provide technical advice on environmental aspects applicable to all phases of operations.
- Ensure the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) at the site in compliance with Company and Project Requirements, and applicable environmental regulations.
- Develop specific environmental plans/procedures and monitor implementation.
- Establishing an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of operations.
- Ensure, together with the relevant technical functions, the implementation of Project strategies for GHGs/ Climate change, and energy management at the site.
- Monitor the Subcontractor's Site activities and their compliance with Project EMS.
- Prepare reports and statistics on the site's environmental performance.
