Industrial Hygienist II

Windjammer Environmental LLC is seeking a Mid-Level Industrial Hygienist to support a major pharmaceutical client in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. This is a full-time position with an anticipated start date of October 5, 2026. The initial duration of the project is 6 to 12 months, with the potential to hire after that time period. This is initially an hourly position with a pay rate of $45-$65/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

• Conducting industrial hygiene and workplace hazard assessments.
• Evaluating employee exposures to chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
• Supporting hazardous materials, chemical safety, and hazardous waste programs.
• Conducting or coordinating exposure monitoring, including air sampling and noise assessments.
• Performing EHS inspections and compliance assessments.
• Evaluating engineering controls, work practices, and PPE requirements.
• Supporting hazard communication, SDS, chemical inventory, storage, and labeling programs.
• Assisting with incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Preparing technical reports, findings, and recommendations.
• Working closely with client EHS, operations, laboratory, engineering, and maintenance personnel.
