Industrial Hygienist

About the Position: This position is located with Army Medical Center Womack, Preventive Medicine, Fort Bragg, NC. This position is Term Not to Exceed 3 years with the possibility of annual extensions. It is time limited and may be extended up to a maximum of 8 years. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Plan, conduct, and administer inspections, surveys, and evaluations as part of a comprehensive industrial hygiene program for multiple military activities.

Anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and recommend methods to control a wide variety of occupational and environmental health hazards in the industrial operations of the installation.

Brief commanders, staff members, supervisors, workers, and the general public on survey requirements and findings.

Prepare detailed technical reports of survey findings with recommended corrective actions.

Perform literature reviews and prepare technical papers, bulletins, circulars, and guides, as well as instructional manuals.
