About the Position: This position is located at the 66th Medical Group, Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.

Manage industrial hygiene program for the Medical Treatment Facility to control a variety of occupational health and environmental hazards.

Conduct audits to evaluate occupational health hazards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and analyzing findings to make recommendations for corrective action.

Develop sampling strategies using indirect and direct reading instruments such as pumps, meters, heat stress monitors, and/or dosimeters, to quantify hazards.

Advise management on industrial hygiene and related safety, environmental, and emergency response issues.

Create instruction to train employees, management, and/or other safety professional personnel on industrial hygiene and related occupational health, safety, and environmental issues.

Provide emergency response guidance to on-scene commanders, fire fighters, and other emergency response personnel as needed.
