Industrial Hygienist

About the Position: This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Provide a broad technical program to evaluate and control occupational health hazards.

Conduct periodic surveys of working conditions.

Conduct evaluations of many different types where hazardous exposures are identified, to include physical, chemical, and radiological hazards.

Prepare technical reports identifying health hazards.

Serve as a supervisor to employees in the section.

Support the Installation Safety Program.

Develop modules in the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Readiness System - Industrial Hygiene (DOEHRS-IH).

Provide technical guidance in support of the Installation Hazard Abatement Plan.
