Key Functions\:
- Performs work safely and follows all Company safety policies and procedures.
- Performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks on heavy equipment and machinery used in lumber manufacturing.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains machinery and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
- Installs bearings, couplings, belts, sprockets, drive chains, etc.
- Identifies cause of machine failure(s) during downtime events and restores the equipment to effective operating condition.
- Welds, lubricates and cleans parts, performs housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned.
