Industrial Metal Mechanic

UIG is hiring experienced Industrial Metal Mechanic/Metal Cladders for immediate project needs. Candidates must have hands-on industrial experience and be available to mobilize quickly to project sites.

What You’ll Do

• Measure, cut, fabricate, and install metal jacketing and cladding on piping, vessels, and industrial equipment.
• Work with aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and similar materials.
• Fabricate elbows, end caps, transitions, flanges, and other custom pieces.
• Install metal jacketing with properly aligned, secure, and watertight seams.
• Coordinate with insulation crews to ensure proper fit and protection.
• Use metal shears, snips, brakes, drills, hammers, hand seamers, and other trade tools.
• Inspect completed work for proper fit, alignment, and quality.
• Follow all site safety requirements, including 100% tie-off when required.
• Identify and immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents.
