Remote, Atlanta, GA
Our client is a growth-focused industrial solutions company expanding its presence across the Southeast and looking for a driven technical sales professional to help capture a significant underserved market opportunity. This is an opportunity for a true hunter who wants ownership of a territory, the resources to solve real customer challenges, and uncapped upside for creating new business. With an expanding product portfolio, continued investment in growth, and strong demand across industrial and capital project environments, the Industrial Regional Sales Manager will have considerable runway to build relationships, win new accounts, and grow alongside the organization.
This Role Offers:
- Competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission structure with meaningful upside for exceeding plan.
- Ramp support designed to help the new hire establish momentum during the first two quarters.
- Growing product portfolio and an organization actively investing in additional market expansion.
- Collaborative sales environment that rewards initiative, preparation, technical curiosity, and results.
Focus:
- Build and execute a focused regional growth strategy targeting high-value accounts, channel partners, industrial projects, and new market opportunities.
- Generate new revenue through proactive prospecting while expanding productive relationships with existing customers and distribution partners.
- Develop trusted relationships with plant managers, project managers, contractors, distributors, and other technical or capital-project decision-makers.
- Serve as a consultative technical resource, identifying customer requirements and recommending practical system solutions.
- Manage opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through quoting, negotiation, and close, including longer-cycle project sales.
- Prioritize accounts and sales activity based on market potential, using disciplined territory planning to maximize productive field time.
- Collaborate with internal teams while monitoring competitive activity, customer needs, pricing dynamics, and emerging growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline, and forecast information while traveling throughout the Southeast to develop customer relationships and territory growth.
Skill Set:
- Minimum 5 years of outside industrial or channel sales experience, with demonstrated success developing decision-maker relationships and closing complex deals.
- Strong technical aptitude and consultative selling capability with industrial equipment, engineered systems, or other application-driven products.
- Compressed air experience is highly desirable, with adjacent experience in automation, CNC equipment, mechanical systems, piping, or similar technical solutions also considered.
- Proven hunter mentality with the initiative to create new opportunities rather than primarily manage an inherited customer base.
- Demonstrated territory planning discipline, including the ability to prioritize accounts, manage time strategically, and execute a focused growth plan.
- Experience selling through or alongside distributors, contractors, project teams, plant managers, and other industrial stakeholders.
- Self-directed and comfortable managing a remote territory with significant travel, while bringing strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and CRM skills.
- Collaborative, accountable, and growth-oriented approach, with a bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
