OUR OPENING

We're looking for an Industrial Field Superintendent to lead on-site construction for treatment plants, lift stations, and related civil/process infrastructure. In this role, you'll oversee concrete, structural, mechanical, electrical, and process piping work—translating design intent into systems built to run reliably for decades. You'll work hand-in-hand with the Project Manager and field crews, setting the tone for safety, quality, and teamwork on every job site.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN INDUSTRIAL SUPERINTENDENT?

  • Lead daily field operations on water/wastewater projects ranging from $5M–$100M
  • Develop short-interval schedules tied to commissioning milestones and process equipment deliveries
  • Coordinate excavation, shoring, structural concrete, process piping, and yard piping sequences
  • Work with design engineers to interpret P&IDs, flow diagrams, and mechanical layouts
  • Manage equipment setting and precision alignment for clarifiers, blowers, pumps, mixers, and other treatment components
  • Oversee subcontractor scopes including electrical, I&C, HVAC, coatings, and specialty process suppliers
  • Lead a 'Zero-Injury' safety culture—conduct daily Job Safety Analyses and weekly toolbox talks
  • Enforce confined-space, trenching, rigging, and lock-out/tag-out procedures per OSHA 1926 Subpart Y
  • Implement quality control plans specific to structural concrete, coating systems, and pipe pressure testing
  • Witness startup, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems alongside OEM reps
  • Maintain redlines and as-builts reflecting actual field installation for owner turnover
  • Conduct daily coordination meetings with foremen and subcontractors to align manpower and sequencing
  • Maintain detailed daily reports tracking manpower, equipment hours, quantities placed, and safety observations
  • Mentor field engineers, foremen, and craftworkers; build a high-performing, cohesive field team
