Industrial Worker (Munitions)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position serves as an Industrial Worker, building munitions, and operating production machinery.

Operating automatic machines and equipment to produce munitions, such as grenades and bombs.

Mixing chemicals by operating electrically powered equipment for use in the production of munitions.

Cleaning and sanitizing chemical-biological protective equipment in accordance with standing operating procedures.

Repairing defective protective equipment by using hand tools to replace components according to established procedures.

Inspecting protective equipment and components for defects by utilizing test equipment to ensure serviceability.
