Industry Engagement Analyst
Summary
Supports industry outreach and engagement for ElectraLink, assisting with research, networking, and coordination to foster partnerships and growth opportunities.
This role is suitable for a recent graduate or an individual early in career, as training will be provided.
ElectraLink provides the Data Transfer Service (DTS) to energy market participants, which sends industry data flows through a trusted, central system. ElectraLink also runs the Distribution, Connection and Use of System Agreement (DCUSA) code. ElectraLink also develops APIs, creates energy data insights and contributes to projects for a changing energy system.
The GB energy industry is going through unprecedented change as it moves to a net zero power system by 2030 and a net zero economy by 2050. Data and digitisation is becoming increasingly important to support this transition, with market participants and the regulator looking to make more use of data and make more data available.
The purpose of this role is to support the Industry Engagement Leads by monitoring and analysing industry change with a focus on the industry code and regulatory policy space. This is predominantly an external-facing role including attendance at industry meetings and workgroups. The primary purpose of the role is to identify new not-for-profit services that ElectraLink could deliver; however, the role will also support the expansion of commercial and existing Cost Recovery Services.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, whilst also learning about the energy industry in a period of significant regulatory change. If you’re interested in the energy industry, have great interpersonal skills and are detail-oriented, then we’d love to hear from you.
