Senior Industry Marketing Manager, Industrials & Manufacturing
About commercetools
Real innovation starts with a strong foundation, and at commercetools, that comes from the perfect balance of our product and our people.
Behind every leap forward is a collective of builders, explorers, doers, makers, and problem-solvers. The kind of people who not only created composable commerce but also shaped the culture of experimentation that idea unlocked. Together they are the engine of commerce innovation today.
At commercetools, we power the next era of commerce for our customers. Whether it’s AI-driven solutions that help enterprises make smarter business decisions, bridging digital and physical shopping experiences, or enabling entirely new ways for industries to connect with their customers, we help the world’s most ambitious companies experiment, scale, and grow without limits.
Here the best idea wins, not the loudest voice. You will have the tools, trust, and space to not only build the future of commerce, but to build your own.
Your Impact
As the Senior Industry Marketing Manager – Industrials & Manufacturing, you will own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and outcomes, positioning, demand generation programs and sales enablement for commercetools across the Industrial and Manufacturing sectors. You will bridge the gap between our product capabilities and the real-world operational challenges faced by manufacturers, distributors, and industrial suppliers, such as complex SKU hierarchies, custom B2B pricing, ERP integration, and spare parts management, to drive commercial growth for the company.
- GTM Strategy & Positioning: Define and execute the vertical marketing strategy for Industrials & Manufacturing, tailoring commercetools’ value proposition to key sub-sectors (e.g., heavy machinery, automotive components, electronics).
- Demand Gen and Content Collaboration: Partner with Field Marketing, Demand Generation and Content teams to build executive roundtables, and high-impact thought leadership content (whitepapers, webinars, regulatory compliance guides) and targeted ABM campaigns.
- Sales Enablement & Content Creation: Equip Account Executives (AEs) and Solution Engineers (SEs) with vertical playbooks, ROI calculators, objection-handling scripts, and competitive kill sheets against legacy monoliths (SAP, Salesforce, Optimizely).
- Buyer Persona Research: Maintain deep domain expertise on buyer personas (VPs of Supply Chain, Operations Leaders, B2B Procurement Directors) to articulate how composable commerce solves catalog complexity and O2C workflows.
- Customer Proof & Case Studies: Identify, interview, and develop compelling case studies and testimonial assets featuring leading manufacturing clients utilizing commercetools.
