Infant Carer/ Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary

As a Healthcare Assistant at My Queen, you will provide compassionate care and support to mothers and newborns during their stay, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, bathe, and change diapers for babies to maintain hygiene and comfort
  • Feed babies while ensuring safety and proper care of umbilical, oral, and eye areas
  • Record babies’ temperature, feeding patterns, and mental/physical behavior to monitor health
  • Track babies’ growth progress and report observations to healthcare team
  • Guide parents on infection control and baby safety practices to promote well-being
  • Monitor mothers’ recovery progress and assist in their postnatal care journey
  • Teach and support mothers in breastfeeding and baby care techniques
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with additional duties as directed by supervisors

Care Scheme

Working Hours & Requirements

  • Day shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM; night shift: 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM with incentives
  • 1.5 hours break included in shifts
  • Must be able to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
  • Candidates without relevant experience are welcome to apply
