Summary
Teach and care for infants in a preschool setting, planning daily programs and promoting Mandarin language development while ensuring health and safety.
Job Description
- Undertake the teaching of a class in accordance with the school’s agreed policies and guidelines.
- Plan and carry out the daily programme, developmental and caregiving tasks as assigned.
- Create meaningful language opportunities for children where love for Mandarin can be promoted.
- Document children’s learning through contributions towards newsletters, class panels and children’s portfolios.
- Attend to the health, hygiene and safety needs of the infants.
- Create a safe environment and provide the best possible care to infants under their care.
- Build and maintain good rapport with parents.
Qualifications:
- At least Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC)
- First Aid certification
